STATUTE

OF ACADEMY OF PSYCHOTHERAPY AND PRACTICAL PSYCHOLOGY

OF FESTIVAL “CHRISTMAS-TIDA MEETINGS”

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. This statute will define the structure and order of the work of Academy of psychotherapy and practical psychology of the Festival Christmas-Tide Meetings (further below referred to as Academy), and also the rights and duties of the specialists-members of the Academy.

1.2. The activity of the Academy is subject to the Legislation of the Russian Federation, the Statute of the Title Organisation, as well as by the Statute of Festival Christmas-Tide Meetings, and this Statute.

1.3. This Statute will come into force after being adopted at the Board of Founders of the Festival of Psychotherapy and Practical Psychology Christmas-Tide Meetings (further below referred to as Festival).

2. ACADEMY, ITS AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

2.1. The Academy will pursue the aim of increasing the professional status o the Festival.

2.2. The Academy will pursue the following objectives:
2.2.1. To promote the development of the professional element of the Programme of the Festival.
2.2.2. To promote the increase of the value of the professional nominations in the Contest Programme of the Festival.
2.2.3. To promote the development of eth Festival and its advance in the professional community.

3. ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE OF ACADEMY

3.1. The Academy is constituted by Honorary Masters of Academy, Masters of Academy, Members of Academy. The former two groups of specialists are full members of the Academy and are part of the Council of the Academy. The Academy is headed by President. The activity of the Academy is co-coordinated by Secretary.

3.2. Honorary Masters of Academy are specialists belonging to the Community of the Festival, who – in the opinion of the Community above-mentioned – made special contribution to the development of mental health care service.

3.2.1. The Members of the Honorary Programme Committee of the Festival will automatically be granted the title of Honorary Master of Academy.
3.2.2. In cases other than above-mentioned, the title of Honorary Master of Academy will be granted to a specialist according to the decision adopted by the Academy.
3.2.3. The title of Honorary Master of Academy is granted to specialists on the timeless basis.
3.2.4. The title of Honorary Master of Academy will endow the specialist with the right to:
- Participate in the meetings of the Academy,
- Participate in electing the winners in the professional nominations of the Festival,
- Participate in electing the winners of the Contest of Resumes of Leaders of the Festival,
- Propose a nominee for the title of Honorary Master of Academy,
- Be elected President of Academy or Secretary Masters’ Council,
- Enjoy exemption from the participation fee when attending the Festival.
3.2.5. The rights of an Honorary Master of Academy may be suspended in case the holder of this title stops any activity in the sphere of mental health care and/or will not participate in the Festival for five years.
3.2.6. A specialist may be deprived of the title of Honorary Master of Academy when taking liberties to violate norms and rules of ethics towards patients, the professional community or the profession.
3.2.7. Masters of Academy are specialists-winners of any professional nomination of the Festival during any of the previous years.
3.2.8. The Degree of Master of Academy will be granted automatically according to the outcome of the Contest of eth Festival and on the timeless basis.
3.2.9. Holders of the Degree of Master of Academy will enjoy the right to:
- Participate in the meetings of the Academy,
- Participate in electing the winners in the professional nominations of the Festival,
- Participate in electing the winners of the Contest of Resumes of Leaders of the Festival,
- Propose a nominee for the title of Honorary Master of Academy,
- Be elected President of Academy or Secretary Masters’ Council,
3.2.10. The rights of an Honorary Master of Academy may be suspended in case the holder of this title stops any activity in the sphere of mental health care and/or will not participate in the Festival for five years.
3.2.11. A specialist may be deprived of the title of Honorary Master of Academy when taking liberties to violate norms and rules of ethics towards patients, the professional community or the profession.

3.3. Members of Academy are specialists who joined the Academy based on their participation in the Festival as Leaders within the Contest Programme of the Festival of the current year.

3.3.1. A specialist will automatically become part of the Academy when applying for participation in the Contest Programme of the Festival, and their membership will be stopped on termination of the work of the Festival (except for cases within-named in Clauses 3.2.2. and 3.3.1 of the present Statute).
3.3.2. Members of Academy will enjoy the right to:
- Participate in the meetings of the Academy,
- Participate in electing the winners in the professional nominations of the Festival.

3.4. Secretary of Academy will be elected from among the Masters’ Council by decision of the Academy for a period of two years, and will be part of the Directorate of the Festival.

3.4.1. Functions of Secretary of Academy:
- Arranging and keeping record of meeting of the Academy,
- Developing documents required for the work of the Academy,
- Organising the work of the Masters’ Council on electing the winners of the Contest of Resumes of Leaders of the Festival,
- Running the database of the Masters’ Council.

3.5. President of Academy will be elected from among members of the Masters’ Council for the term of one year, and will be part of the Jury of the Festival in the capacity of the Chairperson.

3.5.1. President will conduct the meetings of the Academy.
3.5.2. President will enjoy the right of the casting vote at meetings of the Academy

4. ACTIVITIES OF ACADEMY

4.1. The Academy will perform its work pursuant to the aims and objectives of eth Festival, using the funds of the Festival according to the budget approved.

4.2. Meeting of Academy will be held at least once a year within the time of the Festival.

4.2.1. The following range of issues will be discussed at Academy meetings:
- Election of President of Academy,
- Election of Secretary of Academy,
- Proposing changes and amendments to the present Statute,
- Considering the nominees proposed for the title of Honorary Master of Academy,
- Suggestions and proposals concerning the topic and programme for the next Festival proposed to the Directorate,
- Current issues related to the work of the Academy.
4.2.2. Decisions at meetings of the Academy will be adopted according to the results of a simple majority vote, except for the cases of Honorary Master of Academy and Master of Academy rights termination where two thirds of votes will be required to adopt the decision
4.2.3. The record of the decisions adopted will be kept to be further transferred to the Directorate of the Festival.
4.2.4. In between meetings the full Members of Academy may initiate virtual discussion of issues related to the promotion of the professional prestige of the Festival, which will be moderated by Secretary of Masters’ Council
4.2.5. Directorate of the Festival is entitled to get the Masters’ Council of Academy as experts to solve any problems related to the professional part of the Festival
4.2.6. The Academy may be abolished or transformed due to the needs of the Festival and upon decision of Board of Founders of the Festival with the agreement of the Masters’ Council.
